Canada now 2-0 at Men’s Pan American Championship

The Canadian Men's Softball team is now 2-0 at the Men’s Pan American Championship in Argentina.

After beating Colombia 5-1 in the tourney opener, Canada came away with a 3-1 win over the host Argentinians in last night's game. Sean Cleary from Newfoundland pitched a complete game for the win, allowing only one run while scattering five hits and four walks, striking out 14 batters along the way. Canada plays Puerto Rico today, with the game originally scheduled for 8 a.m. this morning, but the start was postponed to 11 a.m. eastern, and the game is now underway.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
