Canada makes comeback to stay perfect at Men’s Pan American Championship

Canada stayed perfect at the Men’s Pan American Softball Championships in Argentina with a comeback win against our southern rivals.

The United States jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, but Mitchell native Tyler Pauli drew a two-out walk in the bottom of the third and then scored from first on a followup single to get a run back, and the Canadians never looked back. Canada scored 4 unanswered runs in total to win 4-2 and push their record to 4-0 to lock up first place in Pool B. Canada will play two Super Round Games today, facing Guatemala, underway at 11:00 a.m. eastern this morning, followed by Venezuela at 2:00 p.m. this afternoon.

Live streaming for the XI Pan American Championship is available on Facebook Live through the WBSC Americas and Softball Canada pages, and through the Softball Premier TV YouTube page.

Team Canada coverage is available through the Softball Canada website and social media channels on FacebookTwitter and Instagram.
