Live racing returns to Clinton on Sunday

Live racing returns to Clinton Raceway on Sunday.

It's the first time in three years that the season will get underway in May after COVID lockdowns delayed season starts in 2020 and 2021.

Highlights will include Legends Day, the $50,000 Kin Pace, and Annual Driver’s Challenge.

“We are excited to kick off our season in May for the first time in 3 years”, said Clinton Raceway General Manager Ian Fleming, “It should be a fantastic season with the return of Legends Day and our annual major stake race, The Kin Pace”.

Opening day on Sunday will be highlighted by $2 Clinton Raceway t-shirts, bake sale and a 50/50 draw in support of the Central Huron Secondary School.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
