Outdood volleyball courts being built in Kincardine

Construction on outdoor volleyball courts at Kincardine's Station Beach are underway.

The Kincardine Outdoor Volleyball Association announced Wednesday that construction had started. It's a project that's been several years in the making.

In a release, KOVA says the courts will be a huge asset to encourage healthy physical living in Kincardine.

They will also be used for structured league play for both recreational and competitive divisions, tournaments, youth skill development programs, while also being open to the public when not in use.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
