Hanover Raceway welcomes champion on Saturday

Hanover Raceway will honour an Arthur driver and horse that recently won the North America Cup this Saturday.

Arthur driver Trevor Henry and horse Desperate Man will be honoured July 23rd for their North America Cup and OSS Super-final Champion wins last season.

Hanover Raceway GM Steve Fitzsimmons says Henry has a storied history at the track and has become one of the most successful harness racers in the country.

"A 10-time driving champion, who has gone on to significant success internationally and nationally here in Canada," said Fitzsimmons. "He of course won the North American Cup with Desparate Man last year, who was also Canada's Horse of the Year."

Henry will be signing autographs and photos can be taken with Desperate Man.

Post time this Saturday is at 1:30 p.m. at Hanover Raceway, and more details can be found on HanoverRaceway.com.
