Local pitcher throws dominant game in WBSC Men's Softball World Cup

A local pitcher put together a dominant performance for Canada at the WBSC Men's Softball World Cup in New Zealand.

Brussels native Ty Sebastian threw a 5 inning no hitter as Canada waltzed past South Africa 11-0 on November 27 in New Zealand. The impressive performance by Sebastian, who is also a local hockey referee, included 12 strikeouts as he mowed down every batter he faced en route to the no-no. Canada knocked in 11 runs on 9 hits in a complete performance for the national team. Sebastian only walked 2 batters the whole outing. Mitchell's Tyler Pauli is also representing Canada at the tournament.

Canada is now 3-0 at the tournament and they will face Argentina on Tuesday, November 29 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Streaming is available at gametime.sport, with live scoring available on the World Cup website.
