Attack shutout on road by Flint

The Owen Sound Attack were unable to find the back of the net against Flint.

They took on the Firebirds on the road Saturday and ended up losing 4-0.

The Attack have now lost seven of their last 10 games.

Kaden Pitre scored the first goal of the game late in the first period. It was his 11th goal of the season.

The Attack were outshot 14-6 in the period.

The second period saw little offense as neither team would find the back of the net and combined for just 14 shots.

The third period was dominated by the Flint as they scored three goals on 21 shots. The goals came from Urban Podrekar, Alex Kostov, and Cole Zurawski.

Flint outshot the Attack 44-16 in the game.

With the loss, Owen Sound sees its record drop to 9-18-2-3, while Flint moves to 13-15-1-1.

The Attack's next game is on Wednesday, December 18, at home against the Barrie Colts.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
