Big PWHL trade sees Sceptres acquire Harmon & Scamurra

The Toronto Sceptres and Ottawa Charge have made the first trade of the 2024-25 Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) season.

The Sceptres have acquired defender Savannah Harmon and forward Hayley Scamurra in exchange for defender Jocelyne Larocque and forward Victoria Bach. Both Larocque (2nd overall) and Harmon (5th overall) were selected in the first round of the PWHL inaugural draft in 2023.

All four players are expected to debut for their new teams when Ottawa visits Toronto on December 31, 2024 at Coca-Cola Coliseum.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
