Team Ontario Softball squad competing at Canada Summer Games featuring local players

Team Ontario is getting set to compete in softball at the Canada Summer Games in St. Johns, Newfoundland and Labrador.

The squad features a number of local midwestern Ontario athletes.

That includes Alex McGillivray of Durham, Connor Paige of Hanover, Dakota McComb of Chatsworth, Jared Vosper from Mitchell and Joe Weiler of Hepworth.

The coaching staff also includes Wingham native Mike Mulvey.

The softball tournament gets underway on Tuesday, August 19.

Team Ontario's full schedule can be seen below. Times are Newfoundland local time:

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
