St. Pat's Sale Possible Within Weeks

The city of Sarnia and the St Clair Catholic District School Board have until month's end to come to an agreement on the sale of the former St. Patricks school property on East St.

At the bequest of Bluewater Health, the city expressed an interest, as it has first right-to-purchase under provincial regulations.

The hospital needs the 320 parking spots on site.

Board Treasurer Jim McKenzie says the track is included in the sale of the 11 acre property.

McKenzie says they must sell the site at market value and have had it assessed. A firm date for talks has yet to be set.
