Imperial Oil Sarnia. Blackburn Media file photo. The emergency sirens at Imperial Oil were activated at 6:44am this morning due to a small fire at a chemicals unit.
A CVECO Code 8 was issued.
The Sarnia Fire Rescue Service was dispatched to the scene. By the time they arrived an Imperial worker had already extinguished the fire at 6:58am and the "all clear" was issued.
All employees were accounted for and there were no injuries.
