Minor Injuries In Plank Rd. Crash

Lambton OPP say there was significant property damage but only minor injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Plank Rd. west of Bridgen Rd. Thursday morning.

Police say a 2011 Toyota was trying to pass a line of slow moving westbound vehicles when a 2016 Chev also pulled into the passing lane. The vehicles collided and also struck another car. Two of the vehicles left the road and ended up in a farm field. Two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries. Police responded at about 8:15am and closed Plank Rd. between Telfer Rd. and Brigden Rd. until about 10:30am. The 19-year-old male driver of the Chev is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with making an unsafe lane change.
