Construction of Tricar's "Bayfront Premier Apartments" is about to become more noticeable.

Marketing and Media Manager Jen Grozelle said the 123-unit high-rise, at 275 Front St. N, will start taking shape next month.

"We're currently working on the two underground parking levels and we're about approximately 50 per cent complete," said Grozelle. "Construction is currently on schedule and you should start to see the building rise above ground level towards the end of April."

She said they'll likely reach the roof by the end of this year and hope to start moving in residents in November 2021.

"It's a 15-storey premier high-rise rental offering a variety of amenities, including a fitness centre, billiards room and lounge, guest suites, theatre room and also a 15th-floor rooftop lounge with panoramic views overlooking the bay and river."

Grozelle said an artist rendering of the building has generated a lot of interest on their website.

"We are welcoming registrations on our site at Tricar.com and by registering on our site you're part of our email list, so you'll be the first to receive any email updates on the progress of the project and updates as the building progresses."

Grozelle wouldn't disclose how many people have registered, but said they're "continually receiving steady registrations."

She expects floor plans and suite layouts to be available at the beginning of next year.
