Elevated levels of pollution due to ground level ozone is expected again today.

Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) values are expected to reach moderate to high risk this afternoon and evening as elevated levels of ozone are expected.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

Lambton OPP have arrested a second suspect in connection with a homicide in Enniskillen Township. 
Police said James Armstrong, 43, of Sarnia was arrested on Tuesday, May 31 in connection with the shooting death of Andrew Chute in April. 
Armstrong is charged with first degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. 
<a href="https://blackburnnews.com/sarnia/sarnia-news/2022/04/15/death-investigation-enniskillen-now-considered-murder/">The body of the 45-year-old Sarnia man was found in a rural parking lot on Marthaville Road on April 14</a>. Police said Chute died as a result of a gunshot wound, in what they believe to be a targeted incident. 
<a href="https://blackburnnews.com/sarnia/sarnia-news/2022/05/26/man-arrested-parking-lot-murder-man-enniskillen-township/">Late last month, Lambton OPP confirmed the arrest of 43-year-old Jason Nahmabin in connection with the homicide</a>. He's also charged with one count of first degree murder.
The OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) continues to examine the incident.
