Environment Canada advised of the threat of severe thunderstorms once again Friday.
The national weather agency issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Sarnia-Lambton at around 4:20 p.m. However, the warning ended just before 5:20 p.m.
It said the cluster of storms extended from Watford to the Oil City area and was capable of producing heavy rain.
Locally heavy rainfall with amounts of up to 50 mm was possible, and residents were urged to keep an eye out for funnel clouds.
