For the third week in a row, the average number of daily COVID-19 cases in Sarnia-Lambton has dropped.
In its weekly update, Lambton Public Health reported 70 new lab confirmed cases of the virus, with a daily average of eight. That's down from 10 last week.
Since the start of the pandemic there have been 14,165 confirmed cases and 163 related deaths.
The health unit said there are a total of five long-term care homes dealing with outbreaks.
At Bluewater Health, there are six patients who have tested positive for the virus.
