Sarnia police are investigating a shooting in the city's south end that sent one woman to a hospital in London with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers were called to a residence in the area of Proctor Street and Talfourd Street on Friday at around 2:30 a.m.
When police arrived, officers found a woman with an "obvious gunshot wound".
The shooting is believed to be a targeted and isolated incident. Police said there are no safety concerns for the public.
Police are expected to remain in the area for the remainder of the day.
The Sarnia Police Service's Criminal Investigations Division (CID) is leading the investigation.
