OHL suspends Sting coaches Letang, Haley

Sarnia Sting's Head Coach Alan Letang and Assistant Coach Michael Haley are facing disciplinary action after last Friday's home game at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena.

The pair were ejected from the game where the Sting played the Saginaw Spirit and lost 4-2.

Letang was originally suspended indefinitely by the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) last Saturday.

He will be suspended for one game and Haley for two for demeaning officials that resulted in game misconducts.

Letang already served one of his suspensions during the Sting's 3-0 shutout against Flint on March 23.

The rest of his suspensions and Haley's will be done during the beginning of the 2024-2025 regular season.

The Sarnia Sting have also been fined $2,500 as a result of the incidents.
