SPS renew request for tips in missing person case

Sarnia police are once again appealing for any information regarding Trevor Chaput.

Saturday, July 6 marks two years since the then 33-year-old has been seen or heard from.

"We understand the impact of his absence and the emotional toll this has taken on Trevor's family, friends and the community," read a news release from Sarnia police.

In the fall of 2022, Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers doubled the reward for information about his disappearance, which police were treating as suspicious.

Chaput is described as about 5'6" tall and weighs around 160 pounds. He has a scar on his right cheek and tattoos on his upper chest of the Scorpio and Leo zodiac signs.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Sarnia Police Service (SPS) at 519-344-8861 or Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
