Lambton OPP conducted more than 202 traffic stops and laid over 139 charges during the Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend Traffic Campaign.
Operation Impact ran from October 11 to October 14.
Police targeted the "Big Four" of distracted driving, alcohol/drug-impaired driving, speeding/aggressive driving, and lack of seatbelt use.
Some of the charges included 104 for speeding, three for stunt driving, two for not wearing a seatbelt, two for impaired driving, and 21 other traffic-related charges.
Officers also issued more than 120 warnings to motorists during the campaign.
The OPP said drivers should make a commitment to adopt safe, defensive driving behaviours and always drive within the law.
The public is being asked to adopt an intolerance of poor driving behaviours, recognizing the serious risk they pose to road users and engage in conversations about safe driving with their families, neighbours, and other people in their communities.
