Serious charges have been laid against a child in Forest.
Lambton OPP were called to a disturbance at Kinnwood Central School at around 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
No serious injuries were reported, however, as a result of the investigation a 12-year-old was charged with four counts of assault, assault causing bodily harm (choke, suffocate or strangle), and mischief.
The accused's name is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
They were released from police custody with a future court date.
