PC salts recalled for pieces of plastic

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has recalled two President's Choice brand salts due to pieces of plastic present in the product.

Both Mediterranean Sea Salts and Himalayan Pink Rock Salts are being shelved with any products sporting a best-before date up to and including January 17, 2026, affected.

The CFIA warns the salts should not be used, sold, served or distributed. It did not include whether any customers have been sick or injured as a result of the recall.

The recalled product can be returned for a refund at Loblaws-owned stores.
