UPDATE: Hit & Run Sends Man To Hospital

Police have made an arrest after a hit and run collision sent a man to hospital in Point Edward.

Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police say on Saturday around 11:30pm, a dark-coloured pickup truck was driving erratically in the parking lot on Helena St. and St. Clair St., when it struck a 29-year-old Sarnia man. The truck was last seen driving west on Lite St.

The victim has since been transported to a London hospital to be treated for unknown injuries.

Police later arrested a suspect who is now in police custody. No other information has been released at this time.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
