Petrolia Upgrading To L.E.D

Streetlights are being upgraded to L.E.D. in Petrolia starting today. (Mon)

Town officials say there'll be a notable increase in Bluewater Power vehicles to complete the upgrade smoothly and quickly.

Residents and motorists are reminded to use extra care with the added work crews in town.

It's estimated the project will take around four weeks to complete.

It mainly involves lighting fixtures and there is no scheduled interruption of any streetlights expected during the retrofit.

Director of Operations Joe Adams says it's a great green initiative for the town and its residents.
