City Man Faces 19 Sex Related Offences

Sarnia police have charged a city man with 19 sex related offences in connection with incidents dating back to the early 1980's in the Wallaceburg and Courtright areas.

63-year-old Larry Wayne Clarke was arrested last week and was being held in custody. Police say the incidents involve two alleged victims who were under the age of 14 at the time.

Charges include sexual assault, assault causing bodily harm, sexual assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats to cause bodily harm, assault, sexual interference and sexual assault with threats to a third party.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
