Driver Escapes Serious Injury In Fiery Crash

The lone male occupant of a vehicle that left Confederation St., rolled and caught fire late Wednesday morning, was treated for minor injuries.

The crash near Telfer Side Rd. caused the closure of Confederation St. between Telfer Rd. and Blackwell Side Rd. for several hours.

Bluewater Power was called to repair a hydro pole. Sarnia fire and EMS also responded.

Police continue to investigate.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
