Southwestern Ontario Mayors Meet

Sarnia's Mike Bradley met with London's new mayor and the mayor of Stratford Friday to forge a working relationship.

Mayor Bradley says they discussed some common issues impacting municipalities in southwestern Ontario.

Bradley says he's been in contact with London's new mayor, Matt Brown, over the past few months.

They discussed rail service, regional economic development, and building the area's economic identity in Ottawa and at Queen's Park.

Mayor Bradley says they plan to meet again in January.

The mayor of Stratford is Dan Mathieson.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
