Chamber of Commerce Accepting OBA Awards Nominations

The Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for its Outstanding Business Achievement Awards.

President and CEO Rory Ring says anyone can nominate a business for an award by filling out the nomination form on the Chamber's website.

Ring says awards will be presented in 12 categories, including: small and large Business of the Year, Member of the Year, Outstanding Customer Service and Young Entrepreneur.

Ring says its important four the community to recognized the entrepreneurs in our community whose innovative ideas spur continued growth and prosperity in the region.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
