Marilyn Gladu Seeking Conservative Nomination

The Past President of the Lambton Conservative Association is the second announced candidate for the party's Sarnia-Lambton nomination in next year's federal election.

52-year-old Marilyn Gladu, who currently resides in Petrolia, says she has experience at various levels of government.

Gladu says they can better use technology to help keep the public informed on upcoming issues.

Pete Aarssen, Freedom 55’s regional director for southwestern Ontario, announced his intention to seek the Conservative nomination earlier this week.

A nomination meeting is expected to be held early in the new year.

MP Pat Davidson announced last week she's not seeking a fourth term.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
