Celebration Of Lights Starts Tonight

It's a sure sign that Christmas is just around the corner.

The 30th annual Celebration of Lights displays will be turned on at 7:30 tonight (Friday).

Spokesperson Cathie Blake says free entertainment begins at the Dow People Place in Centennial Park at 6pm.

There will be free cake and hot drinks available.

Fireworks start at 7:45pm, followed by free horse drawn trolly rides.

Blake says entertainment will be provided by the New Horizons Community Church Band.

Front St. from London Rd. to Exmouth St. will be closed today from 5:30pm to 9pm for the Celebration of Lights Opening Ceremonies.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
