Snow Tracks Lead To Thieves

It didn't take OPP long to track down a couple of out-of-towners suspected of breaking into one of the buildings at Pinery Provincial Park Wednesday night around 10pm.

Responding to an alarm, officers simply followed footprints in the snow to the only campsite being occupied in the entire park.

Police recovered a set of stolen snowshoes clearly marked as property of the park.

Two men, aged 24 and 25 from the Toronto area, are charged with break, enter and theft.
