Nyp Seeks Conservative Nomination

Three people are now seeking nomination for the federal Conservatives in Sarnia-Lambton.

Terry Nyp, a recent director of the Sarnia-Lambton Conservative Association, says he has more than 20 years experience working in a variety of fields from front-line worker, manager to business owner.

The 54-year-old says he will focus on boosting local employment.

The Past President of the Sarnia Lambton Conservative Association Marilyn Gladu and local financial executive Pete Aarssen have also announced their intentions.

A nomination meeting is expected to be held early in the new year.

MP Pat Davidson announced November 14 she would not seek a fourth term.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
