Waterville TG Unionized Employees Reject Contract

Unionized employees at Waterville TG in Petrolia have voted 85 per cent against the latest contract offer from the employer.

UAW Local 251 representative Bill Pollock says they will now decide how to proceed, although no immediate negotiations are planned.

About 400 workers saw their last contract expire Tuesday.

Waterville manufactures sealing systems and weatherstripping for the automotive industry, and began production at its Petrolia plant in 2000.
