Team Building (Gallery)

The Sarnia Sting traded hockey sticks for hammers Tuesday morning to help with construction of Habitat for Humanity's Chris Dawkins Memorial Youth Build.

Equipped with work boots, glasses and hard hats, players along with coaches and staff helped put up siding and hang drywall.

Sting President Bill Abercrombie says its a good experience for the players.

The team had asked fans to bring unused CSA approved footwear to last weekend's home games.

Players were able to use the boots Tuesday and left them at the build site to help with future projects.

Habitat for Humanity hopes to have the house at 237 East St. completed by April 2015.
