NextEra's Jericho Project Online

The Jericho Wind Energy Centre in Lambton Shores and Warwick Township is up and running. 92 wind turbines were erected in NextEra Energy's $400-million-plus project.

Spokesperson Josie Bird says as many as 300 workers were on site at the peak of construction.

Bird says some construction workers were remain on scene into the spring, cleaning up.

She says the last turbine will be brought online in January.

The project produces 149-megawatts of power.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
