Local Police Filling Cruisers With Canned Goods And Toys

Lambton OPP is looking to "Stuff A Cruiser" to help needy children during the holiday season.

Officers are collecting non perishable food items and gifts for children.

Constable Todd Monaghan says they will be in Petrolia and Forest.

Sarnia Police Services is also holding its "Cram A Cruiser" event this weekend.

Police were in front of Toys R' Us in Lambton Mall until 3pm Friday and again Saturday from 1pm until 7pm.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
