Warwick Grow Op Busted

A sizeable marijuana grow operation has been busted in Warwick Township.

Early Tuesday afternoon, Lambton OPP, west region tactics and rescue and the street crimes unit executed a drug warrant at a residential property in the 5000-block of Nauvoo Rd.

Police say a marijuana grow op was located in an outbuilding and plants in various stages of growth were seized.

The street value of the marijuana is estimated at $30,000.

61-year-old Thomas Gilliland, 57-year-old Judith Gilliland and 34-year-old Jason Gilliland, all of Warwick Township, are charged with production of marijuana.

They're to appear in Sarnia court February 4, 2015.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
