Celebration Of Lights Tours Begin

The best lights in town have been mapped out. Sarnia Transit's annual Celebration of Lights tours run Thursday and Friday night.

Spokesperson Christy Timmers says you can board the bus at Play It Again Sports at Lambton Mall from 6:45pm until 8:45pm.

Timmers says you can choose from two routes featuring the best lit neighbourhoods in north and south Sarnia.

The cost is just $1. Non-perishable food donations are also being accepted for the Inn of the Good Shepherd.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
