A 26-year-old man is charged after an altercation with Sarnia police over the weekend.
Officers attended a home on Lakeshore Rd. around 1:45am Saturday, while investigating a single vehicle hit and run collision that occurred the day before on Blackwell Rd.
Constable Les Jones says the 26-year-old man, who was allegedly intoxicated at the time, tried to stop his mother from speaking with police.

No injuries are reported and no names have been released.
