Here's what's open and closed New Years Day.
There is no mail delivery. Most retail outlets including Lambton Mall are closed. There's no Sarnia Transit Thursday.
Beer and Liquor stores are closed. Banks and financial institutions and government offices including city hall are also closed.
There's no garbage collection in Sarnia. The Thursday routes will be covered on Friday with the regular schedule pushed back a day ending on Saturday.
