New No Smoking Rules Take Effect

Ontario's new anti-smoking legislation officially kicks in Thursday.

It's now illegal to smoke on bar and restaurant patios, indoor or outdoor.

Lambton Public Health's Kevin Churchill says there will be a transition period, to educate restaurant and bar owners as well as patrons about the new rules.
