Applicants Wanted For City Boards And Committees

The City of Sarnia has extended its deadline for applications to various boards and committees for the 2015-2016 term.

Clerk Nancy Wright-Laking says appointments will be made to 15 different groups, including: the Sarnia Police Services Board, Sarnia Transit Advisory Committee and Bluewater Trails Committee.

Applications are available on the City's website sarnia.ca or by visiting the Clerk's department at City Hall.

The deadline to apply is January 14 at noon.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
