Legionnaires Acquire Masters From Lincolns

The Sarnia Legionnaires have acquired goalie Andrew Masters from the St. Marys Lincolns for cash considerations.

The 19-year old Kitchener native posted a 2-20-1-2 mark with the last place Lincolns this season but managed a .902 save percentage and 3.98 goals against average.

Masters is excited to be part of the team.

Legionnaires GM Bob Williamson says goalie Hunter Johnson is now awaiting a trade from the team. The Legionnaires have also acquired another defenceman and will be making an official announcement in the coming days.

Sarnia is home to LaSalle on Thursday night at Sarnia Arena.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
