Sarnia Snowfest Takes A Break

Sarnia Snowfest is in transition.

Spokesperson Jim Vergunst says there will not be a full fledged event this year after 22 years.

He says they've decided to take a one year hiatus from the event, so there will not be an international snow sculpting competition.

Vergunst says fresh faces are needed to organize and participate in the event for it to move forward.

Those interested in becoming involved are asked to email info@sarniasnowfest.com.
