Delays In Recycling And Bulk Item Pick Ups

The City of Sarnia is asking residents to be patient when it comes to having recycling and bulk items picked up.

Manager of Operation Services Brian Prouse says there are delays.

He says the contractor is experiencing vehicle problems due to the cold weather, effecting the schedule for recycling and bulk collection.

Prouse says Thursday's recycling was being collected Friday and items usually picked up Friday will be collected Saturday.

He says similar problems are being experienced with bulk item collection. Residents are asked to leave those items at the curb until the contractor can get them.
