School Boards Receive Donation From Noelle's Gift

The St. Clair Catholic and Lambton Kent District school boards received $45,000 from the Noelle's Gift charitable fund.

The funds will be dispersed throughout the two school boards, to be used to help children and families in need.

Noelle's Gift Committee Member Jackie Major-Daamen says they meet with both school boards a few times a year to get updates on how the funds are being distributed.

It's the second year for the partnership between Noelle's Gift and the school boards.

Major-Daamen says the money helps students afford necessities to better their education.

She says they continue to be blown away by the amount of community support and donations they receive in the name of slain teacher Noelle Paquette.
