Suspicious Vehicle Complaint In Corunna

Lambton OPP are investigating a report of a young girl being approached by a suspicious male in Corunna Saturday.

Police say around 1:30pm a 13-year-old girl waiting to cross the road at Colborne St and Hill St. was asked by a male, about 20 years of age, in a vehicle if she wanted a ride.

Constable Todd Monaghan says the driver was unknown to the girl and she declined the ride.

Anyone with information is asked to contact OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
