Impaired Driver Hits Plough

A 34-year-old Sarnia man is facing charges after a collision with a snow plough Monday morning.

Constable Les Jones says it happened just before 1 am on Confederation near Roper St. He says the eastbound vehicle slammed into the back of the plough.

Jones says the driver was arrested and taken to headquarters where a breath sample showed he was two and half times over the legal limit.

Jones says he was held until sober and was charged with impaired operation and over the legal limit.

No injuries were reported in the crash.
