Truck Traffic Complaints

Petrolia residents upset with the amount of truck traffic through town will get a chance to voice their concerns.

Lambton County Council has told staff to begin public consultations as part of a study into the possible implementation of truck restrictions on Petrolia Line.

Manager of Public Works Jason Cole says they've gauged public opinion on the issue before, but further complaints have triggered them to ask the question again.

No date or format for the public input has been decided at this time.

Cole says they're hoping to have recommendations back to county council before the summer.
