Police Confirm Missing Teen Located

Windsor Police confirm 17-year-old Taiylor Whiteye is now with her family safe and sound.

Whiteye was reported missing to Windsor police a week ago. Police said at the time she may have been in Sarnia, but could have been heading back to Windsor.

Whiteye has ties to Walpole Island and Wallaceburg.

She was found in the Chatham area early Tuesday morning. Monday, police said they believed she was near Moraviantown.

Family members were concerned for her safety.

Police say the investigation continues and they may release more details Tuesday afternoon.
